A fine large size late 19th century antique gilded bronze seated figure of Buddha Sakyamuni, Seated in Vajrasana on a separate cast lotus base, his right hand in Bhumisparsamudra, the left resting on his lap holding a pot, wearing diaphanous garment leaving his right shoulder bare and with pleated front section, his face with serene expression, urna, slit eyes, aquiline nose, smiling lips, pierced elongated earlobes and usnisha, the last surmounted by a lotus bud.
