A very fine gray schist head of Buddha, Gandhara culture, Kushana's period circa. 300 A.D from North-west of Pakistan. His oval face carved with long almond-shaped eyes and pursed lips and his hair arranged in incised ridges terminating in a domed ushnisha and visible tilk ( third eye/ eye of wisdom ) on his forehead. Height= 18cm ( Height with solid metal stand is 25cm ) Wheight=3.5kg,Condition= tip of nose is chopped-out, some minnor damage on ears otherwise intact as a fragment,No repairings or restoration, see pictures for more details.
